"In news too weird not to share, a project entitled 5000 Seconds: Our World is willing to include your film inside another film in what is being described as a cinematic collage (which is way cooler than the AC Slater collage I did in high-school . I mean grade school . I mean never). Basically, you can submit your own piece of film (described as raw video footage, vignettes, short films or short documentaries), photos and music to be smooshed and smashed into a film that will last exactly 1 hour 23 minutes and 20 seconds and hopes to be a "powerful snapshot of the world we live in." Although it sounds more disorienting than watching a David Lynch movie inside while riding the Teacup Ride at Disney World, the film is the next logical step in the You Tube-ing of film. Film submissions will run you $10, whereas photos will run you $5. Head to 5000seconds.com for more information and specifics about this strangely cool project. Think of it this way: If they include your photo and a photo of Halle Berry, you can say 'Yeah, I did a project with Halle.' "
